Part of a series of looping videos (Shearing, Wringing, Dialing, Churning) envisioned as visual explorations into the literal medium of digital video. Each originated from the same compilation of errant cell phone camera footage. Iterative exploitations of the way digital video files are compressed gradually broke down any representational forms. Structure was then reimposed through animations of various mechanical movements.
