The converse of an answering machine. When the motion sensor is triggered, a microcontroller generates a semi-random phone number. A stepper motor then turns the rotary dial the corresponding amount for each digit. Once dialed, the nature of the call plays out over the course of several minutes. Viewers are invited to participate to whatever degree they feel comfortable.
